Combining embroidery with watercolour, Dyveke Fauerholdt Noack is a multidisciplinary artist. Believe it or not, she has a background in IT, but art has always been close to her since childhood. “As a kid, I used to sneak into my grandfather’s studio, just to smell the paint, look at the colours, sense the light in the room and touch the bristles of his brushes – I loved that place.” Her work is heavily inspired by the upbringing and nature in Funen, Denmark, and Greenland. With the chaotic parts in multiple layers standing opposite to simpler areas, Dyveke likes to include negative space in an abstract way.
